Director of Labor & Delivery Responsibilities:
- Manages the 24-hour operation of Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assures quality patient care.
- Applies management and clinical expertise, education, research, and consultation to optimize operational outcomes.
- organize, direct, and supervise the functions of the OB unit encompassing Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and level 2 nursery (NICU).
- Position is on-site.
- Reports to CNO
Director of Labor & Delivery Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree Nursing
- NC RN State Licensure Required or Compact RN License
- Three years of inpatient Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Minimum of two years of Hospital Management experience.
- BLS, ACLS (within 90 days of hire)
The hospital offers an aggressive compensation commensurate with experience.
